Ever play the 7 degrees from Kevin Bacon game? Well, this guy is like 3 degrees from me. Not mentioned in the story is that this guy was about to start a new job at a major hospital in Ohio on Monday (and work 3rd shift which is scary as well considering). His supervisor would have been a friend of my older sister.

I'd hate to think someone like him working in a big hospital. Who knows what could have happened? A lot of babies are born at this hospital too.

And even more scary was this guy passed several interviews to be hired to start on Monday. They (big wigs there) decided to put him on third shift because of the way he looked. Um... makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Next time Bush or anyone in the administration stands up and boasts, "We got him." they better be talking about Bin Ladin! I don't want to hear that crap about anyone else like they did Saddam. Honestly, when I heard the words "we got him", I first hoped it was Bin Ladin who they were talking about. Let's face facts, people! It wasn't Saddam that took down the World Trade Center (and an important part of my youth because I stood right at the bottom of those towers and looked up at them in awe when I was ten). It wasn't Saddam that had a plane ram into the Pentagon. It wasn't fucking Saddam that had a plane headed towards the White House only those passengers took it out causing it to crash in western Pennsylvania instead. Look, as far as Bin Ladin goes, Bush dropped the ball. You can't sugarcoat it! We have service men and women past and present who died defending our country and our President has not brought the person who did the most severe attack to this country to justice and it's almost 6 years later! If people like Bush can't get the job done, make sure the next person in that chair does! While we went after Saddam, what do you think Bin Ladin has been doing? Twiddling his thumbs? They are still out there and getting bigger everyday! And they are doing it on Bush's watch damnit!

I have nothing to say about those crooks Blockbuster this time. ;)

I will say that over in a community that I created on LiveJournal that I gave maintain power to Brak aka Vern. I have sort of lost conversing with him regularly because things outside him and I have pulled in different directions. Not a personal thing between us. Just life. But I knew I could count on him to always be fair and keep it open to all. Emotions can sometimes be an enemy to pure logic. And I have complete faith in him if (and a big IF) anything arises while I am away from there so much.

I posted a comment in his journal there but since this is my first MT post since then, I want to send out a tear to Nick on his family loss. If any don't know who Nick is, he writes for another site that's a part of the multiverse ring. It was Nick that introduced me to metahumanpress about a year ago. Some of you might know Nick as Doug the Troll in CoH.

There is a disturbance right now -- a GREAT disturbance in another area. I will be sort of cryptic in this section because there is a part that really is sort of sickening. And I don't want to give it more attention really but this is my vent venue. But isn't marriage supposed to be sacred? And why would we have the Jerry Springer like mentality in some women that think it's okay to go after married men then get pissy when they get dumped on? Um... HELLO, MORON! IF HE WILL CHEAT ON HER, HE WILL ON YOU TOO! Why think she can change someone once he's with her? NEWSFLASH: IT'S NOT LIKE WE HAVEN'T HEARD THAT ONE BEFORE (baby, I promise I won't cheat on you.) Yeah, and I should put the Brooklyn Bridge on sale on eBay and this type of girl would be dumb enough to bid on it! And that's all I got to say about that!

Okay, on to other news... this area is and will always be ANNA NICOLE SMITH FREE ZONE! Am I the only one who was tired of hearing about this drug addict? Honestly, I was tired about 2... no make it 3 years before she died and took the eternal dirt nap! So there will never be any news about her. I won't make a drug addict a legend. And that's all I got to say about that!

You know what Blockbuster tried to pull?

I canceled my account on 3/7. Because they said, "You have until April 6 to return any movies to us or we will charge your card for the purchase of movies." HELLO! REASON I QUIT WAS BECAUSE I WASN'T GETTING ANY MOVIES FROM MY QUEUE!

So since it's now early April, I decided to go over to their site and log in to see what was up. Guess what? They claimed they sent movies to me AFTER I canceled the account that I NEVER got! I tried to report that I never got them and not to send replacements since I canceled. And it wouldn't let me do that. So I deleted everything in my queue then reported them as not arrived. I figured they would notice it was a canceled account and not send anything else out.

Then the next day, I see things added back into my queue but had short wait. I deleted them out of my queue.

Apparently, not only does Blockbuster not send as promise but they try to force video sales on people who quit their service! Blockbuster Online is a criminal organization with their false advertising and trying to false charge people for purchases when they cancel.

BEWARE THE BLOCKBUSTER!!!!!
